We work in hope to achieve better social and environment for everybody. 2025 CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION WITH SENIORS @NURSING HOME The JNR Team was honored to give back to the community once again this Chinese New Year 2025 at Ren Ci Nursing Home in Woodlands. Building on our past efforts, we brought joy to the elderly with festive entertainment, including our beloved mascots, engaging game stalls, and delicious food stations filled with CNY treats and oranges. It was a heartwarming experience to reconnect, celebrate, and spread festive cheer. We are also incredibly grateful to have this meaningful initiative captured and featured on Channel 8, further amplifying the spirit of giving this season! CHINESE NEW YEAR VISIT to elderly The JNR Team finally had the chance again to give back to our community in this 2023. As the last time we did this activity was before the pandemic, it was extremely meaningful to finally do it again this year. We were able to sponsor Chinese New Year goodie bags, oranges, drinks, and snacks, as well as bring entertainment by having our Mascots to serve and spend time with the elderly. Grateful to have these captured and featured in Channel8 as well. ONE PUNGGOL BUILDING FUND DONATION AND CHARITY DRIVE JNR took part in the One Punggol Community Club Official Opening and Children's Day Celebration on 9 October 2022. Our Founder & MD, Robin Goh, represented JNR to attend, then made a donation of 5K for building funds for Punggol residents. Later that day, he personally joined in the children's day celebration by participating in the charity drive. SOE fundraising golf challenge JNR MD Robin Goh represented JNR in Spirit of Enterprise (SOE)'s "Golf Challenge with A Heart of Gold". It is a fundraising project in which the objectives are to support Singapore's future by giving back to local community and to inspire young entrepreneurs by networking over a game of golf and dinner. JNR took this chance to also invite several of our partners as guests to play for cause. BRINGING JOY TO HOMES JNR brought total of four God of Wealth mascots to the local nursing home to offer blessings to the residents, distribute oranges, plus sing and dance. By deploying free mascots to create fun atmosphere and talk to the residents, we attempted to do something that brings joy within our own abilities. CHILDREN CANCER FOUNDATION JNR acted in support of Children Cancer Foundation by donating 10% of whole month revenue to Christ Commission Fellowship Singapore (CCF Singapore) Sustainability – Protecting the planet for future generations. The three R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle – are important rules that we follow to help to eliminate the amount of waste we throw away. REDUCE – In 2014, we took up the initiative to go paperless and using accounting software to issued electronic quotations and invoices instead. Since then, we saw almost a 50% drop in paper usage in our office! REUSE – We have created our very own synthetic material polypropylene bags! These bags are for event usage which will be reused for our client’s events instead of paper/plastic bags. RECYCLE – In 2019, we introduced new sustainability workshops categories such as Photoframe Making, Carton Pouch and Plastic Bottle holder which contributes to our recycling campaigns and at the same time teach the younger generation on the beauty of recycling. We propose compostable and biodegradable utensils. We phase out plastic straws usage in events We do not use plastic water bottles at all in our events We developed sustainability games to recycle products and promote recycling in events We utilize local woods from brought down trees in Singapore for fabrication.
