Singapore Presidential Election 2023: Nomination Day on Aug 22
On Nomination Day, which occurred on August 22, individuals eagerly awaited the unveiling of whether they would exercise their voting rights or witness a walkover in the upcoming election. The event unfolded at the auditorium of the People’s Association (PA) located at 9 King George’s Avenue.
During the proceedings, notable figures such as Mr. Ng Kok Song, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and Mr. Tan Kin Lian emerged as confirmed candidates for the Singapore Presidential Election.

JNR was present on-site to play a pivotal role in managing the audiovisual setup to relay the information to the nation's eyes. We take immense pride in our contribution to uniting every citizen of Singapore for this significant event.
Community Chest Light-Up Ceremony 2023
On 16 November 2023, our team at JNR had the honor of playing a part in the launch of the Christmas Light-Up on Orchard Road.
President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, together with Hitachi Asia's Chairman Kojin Nakakita, as well as other representatives from the Community Chest, Orchard Road Business Association, Singapore Tourism Board and other organisations, initiated the launch of the Christmas Light-Up.

In the spirit of commemorating Singapore's National Day Observance Ceremony at The Treasury, JNR stands proud, reflecting on its integral role in orchestrating a memorable event in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance Singapore.

Amidst the distinguished presence of esteemed representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Law, Smart Nation Singapore, Public Service Division, AGD Finance, PMO, and AGO, attendees were treated to a meticulously planned program designed to honor the occasion.

A highlight of the event was a captivating sustainability performance, featuring innovative green drumming—a testament to JNR's commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices.

Furthermore, attendees were delighted by a selection of signature food stations, fringe activities, and a photobooth, meticulously curated to enhance the overall experience.

This event marked a significant milestone for all involved, and JNR extends its gratitude to the organizers for entrusting them with the responsibility of executing such a prestigious occasion.
SUPPORTING Spirit of enterprise: soe
Introducing the Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) Awards: an annual celebration honoring local entrepreneurs and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in Singapore. These awards recognize small and medium-sized business owners who have made significant contributions to the country's economic growth.

The SOE Awards aim to inspire Singaporeans, especially the youth, to pursue entrepreneurship through interaction and knowledge sharing. JNR proudly supports this initiative on a pro bono basis, in this context, JNR's involvement signifies its commitment to contributing to the betterment of society and fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem within Singapore, without seeking financial compensation in return.
